BMF WESSEX is the regional association of the British Marine Federation representing marine businesses in Poole and the district including Christchurch, Weymouth and parts of Wiltshire and Hampshire.

BMF Wessex is pleased to work in association with the South West Regional Development Agency (SWRDA) and Marine Southwest. 

We are a very active association and hold regular quarterly member’s meetings in the Poole area.  These normally involve a dinner and after dinner speaker. 

Our members regularly exhibit at Southampton and London Boat Shows as well as many international events.    

We have held POOLE AFLOAT our popular annual event on Poole Quay in June for a number of years.  This has become a very popular event and we have taken thousands of people on the water.  We have also had quayside displays which have generated a great deal of interest from the public.
